Fire detection system by video stream analysing
The main responsibility of the system is to encode, stream and analyze the video input in order to detect the potential forest fire hazard. An input stream comes from the industrial camera which is placed in the woodland.
System works on the TI DaVinci DM6447 platform under dedicated Linux control. The image analysis algorithms are implemented using OpenCV library. Additionally, the project contains a large database and camera's positions and parameters of head subsystem.
Software mainly is written in C++ language and work in multi-core environment.
Designed system is final version of the Video Forest Fire Detection System which additionally contains Real time coding (H.264) and streaming of analog video input on the TI DaVinci platform project.
The system was developed for the company which cares of the forest environment.
